Concert night of the young Italian ensemble ArtiCoolAzione

Wishing to present their audience with a sound of not yet published Neapolitan cantatas for alto and basso continuo, the members of Italian ensemble ArtiCoolAzione put together a concert repertoire of pure Neapolitan pleasure. Comprised of the works of the composers of the 18th century, yesterday´s evening’s concert programme included Italian cantatas and other Baroque forms realized in the works of Leonardo Leo, Salvatore Lanzetti, Alessandro Scarlatti, Adolf Hasse and Giovanni Girolamo Kapsperger. Hidden among them were also a still unheard measures of compositions written for solo harpsichord, theorbo solo, as well as sonatas for Baroque cello and basso continuo. Through this unique baroque jurney we were taken by the excellent performance of the ensembles vocal soloist, Italian countertenor Lorenzo Marziotte.
Ensemble´s lutist and also founder, Diego Leverić, presente an interesting concert program for solo lute with the works of S. L. Weiss as a part of this year´s festival tour outside the City of Korčula. The concert was held at the parish All Saints Church in Blato on the 9th of September.
Photo gallerys of both concerts can be seen here.
