Dorđe Stanetti
Đorđe Stanetti was born in 1961 in Zagreb where he started his musical education. In 1977 he had his debut with Zagreb and Belgrade Philarmonic Orchestra. He studied the piano at the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna as the youngest student of the already legendary pedagogue Bruno Seidlhofer and after him with Russian pianist Leonid Brumberg at the Konservatorium der Stadt Wien.
1984 he won the piano competition in Udine.
He has performed in all major Croatian cities both as a soloist and as a chamber music player, as well in all cultural venues of the former Yougoslavia and in Italy, Austria, Germany, UK, Romania, Denmark, Switzerland, Argentine.
Critics have always praised his almost 20 years long cooperation with the famous Croatian mezzo- soprano Dunja Vejzović.
He teaches piano at the Music Academy in Zagreb since 1989.
