Anna Veiteberg

Soprano Anna Veiteberg (formerly Miklashevich) is praised for her deeply moving interpretations of music spanning many centuries, from the Middle Ages to contemporary repertoire.
She has appeared at leading European festivals including the Utrecht Early Music Festival, the Lucerne Festival, AMUZ (Belgium), the Berliner Festspiele, and the Wiener Konzertwochen.
As a specialist in Baroque music, Anna Veiteberg has performed solo roles in Handel’s Messiah with La Cetra Barockorchester, Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and Passions, Schütz’s Christmas Story with Capriccio Barockorchester, and Handel’s Dixit Dominus with the Freiburger Barockorchester. She has also appeared as a soloist in Orff’s Carmina Burana, Dvořák’s Stabat Mater, and Saint-Saëns’ Oratorio de Noël.
Her operatic engagements include appearances at Oper Dortmund (2017, Glass: Einstein on the Beach, conducted by Florian Helgath), Free Opera Company Zürich (2019, Raimondi: Il ventaglio, conducted by Massimiliano Matesic), and Theater Basel (2022, Glass: Einstein on the Beach, conducted by André de Ridder).
Anna also performs regularly with Switzerland-based ensembles such as La Morra, Voces Suaves, the Basler Madrigalisten, and the La Cetra Vocal Ensemble. She can be heard on numerous recordings, including Fauvel’s Proposal to Fortune with Marc Mauillon and Splendor da Ciel with La Morra, which received the prestigious Diapason d’Or award.
