InVocare

InVocare emerged from the AVES (Advanced Vocal Ensemble Studies) programme at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, with a focus on English and Italian madrigals of the 16th and 17th centuries. Comprising singers from five continents, the ensemble brings a fresh, emotionally resonant approach to this repertoire. Through exquisite tuning, poignant silences, spoken word, and imaginative staging, they aim to move and engage listeners in unexpected ways.
InVocare has performed at leading early music festivals across Europe, including the Utrecht Early Music Festival, Laus Polyphoniae, Meer Stemmig Gent, MA Festival Bruges, and others.
