Izidor Erazem Grafenauer
Erazem Grafenauer (1991) is a Slovenian musician, performer, and educator active in the fields of both early and contemporary music. He performs as a soloist, chamber musician, and collaborator with a variety of orchestras, appearing at festivals throughout Europe as well as in North and South America.
At the centre of his artistic interests are plucked string instruments—from the lute to the modern guitar—which he seeks to connect with other artistic forms of expression. He is Assistant Professor at the Academy of Music of the University of Ljubljana and serves as Artistic Director of the Rasgueado Ljubljana concert series, the Ljubljana Guitar Festival, and the Kit-Ara concert cycle.
His discography includes the albums Preludio (2018), Dela slovenskih skladateljev (Works by Slovenian Composers, 2019), XyloCorda (2022), and Ventana abierta (2023).
